A Note for Students Interested in Working with Me

I love working with graduate students and am always happy to take on new students, however my situation is somewhat unique. I am a philosopher in the cognitive neuroscience program and so don’t have a lab. Students in the M.S. program in Cognitive Neuroscience need to complete an empirical thesis which means one of a few things. The first option would be a project that re-analyzes an existing data set to answer a novel question. The second option is to for me to serve as a co-mentor while the student works in another lab. The final option is for the student to work on a project that can be completed outside a lab.

Unfortunately I am not affiliated with the philosophy program at the Graduate Center so cannot supervise philosophy PhDs but I can, and have been, a member of PhD dissertation committees. I have also supervised students through the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program.

Feel free to send me an email to set up a time to meet to discuss potential projects!
